My name is Jennifer Lee and this beauty right here is my daughter, Makenna...

As A Photographer...​

I love photography. I love seeing and feeling emotions in my images. I love the images that just make my heart swell, and the moments that over and over again make me feel so blessed to do what I do. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I pour my heart and soul into what I love doing and I hope that it shows in my work. I want to capture your family as a work of art you can proudly and lovingly display on the walls of your home. I don't want to just take a photo of you, no, this art I strive for is so much more than that. Its in the little details, the moments, the in between, the laughs and love and hugs and of course a gorgeous sunlight background! That is what I want for you when you invest into my custom photography.​

I give God all the glory for this work I get to do, and this business exists, as do I, to bring him glory in all things.

I believe that simplicity is key. I pack my Nikon camera and my favorite lenses, usually a 35mm Sigma Art , a 50mm & an 85mm (I shoot with prime lenses and I just love the results!) I don't feel the need to be overwhelmed with gear to perfectly capture your family. I am a natural light photographer, I believe in full golden hour sunlight and a naturally posed, moment inspired family.​

I want my clients to feel comfortable with me, someone they can see as a friend and not just someone they hired to photograph their special day. I believe in getting to know my clients when I book sessions for them, because knowing them is a way for me to truly capture their style, personality and character as a family and that is what makes for stunning portraits. I love to watch their families grow and I am truly honored when they return for future sessions.

My Personal Life...​

I was born and raised right here in the great state of Texas and I have lived in and around the San Antonio area most of my life.  I now live on 11 acres of land that I call home. I have been doing this photography "job" for over 16 years and I could not love it more.

​

I am a single mom to Makenna, my beautiful, smart, creative 17 year old girl who is the love and joy of my

life and I am her biggest fan. I have home schooled her since kinder and now she is heavily

involved in musical theater so our two passions make for a really exciting life!! 

​

I have two amazing parents who have stood by my side all of my life and they constantly encourage and support my dreams of photography and I am blessed that I have such a connection and friendship with them both.​

​

I am addicted to coffee. I love online shopping (hello amazon prime!) cheesecake, movies, YouTube, and traveling. My idea of a great vacation or relaxing is at the beach. I love comfy clothes and I am most always going to show up to our session in yoga pants +  t-shirts because I believe the more comfy I am the better the images turn out!

Sometimes I laugh/talk way to loud, I am completely directionally challenged (thank God for a GPS)

and I am prone to working until 2 am because I am a total night owl. I am NOT a morning person. At. All.

I usually arrive way to early for everything!

I love Jesus and I have faith in the greater plan. I have had highs and lows and it has defined who I am and I feel, made me a stronger person. I feel that the core of my existence as a photographer stemmed from not only my love of beautiful imagery, but capturing the rapidly changing moments of my growing baby girl. From there, it expanded to what I love doing today. Creating beautiful moments for my clients and friends.
